Poem 5: “ Stone Airplane” ( by Shel Silverstein)   Paraphrase: In "Stone Airplane," Silverstein happily tells the story of knowingly building a flying aircraft out of stone.   Attitude: “ Stone Airplane" is a funny, goofy attitude that encourages creativity with a sense of childish joy .   Shift : The shift in "Stone Airplane" is from playful to comfortable safety, from building an airplane out of stone's joy to expressing a preference for staying inside, out of sight.   Opinion: This poem is very funny and enjoyable, in my opinion. Apart from that, I also agree that staying indoors and out of sight is comfortable.   Recommendation: The short but beautiful poem "Stone Airplane" perfectly expresses the vibe of creativity and fun. I believe my friends would find some laughter or memory in its lines.  So I highly recommend this book to my friends.
Poem 4 : “Snowball” ( by Shel Shiverstine)     Paraphrase : The author makes a snowball and takes care of the snowball by making it some pajamas and giving it a pillow but, the snowball runs away leaving behind a funny twist at it wets its bed before leaving.     Attitude: This poem has a active, funny attitude . Making a snowball pet seems to be taken quite seriously by the speaker, and the unexpected ending gives a funny twist.     Shift: The two last lines are where the tone shifts from the snowball's fun creation to its surprise and funny wetting of the bed and disappearance.   Opinion: This poem, in my opinion, covers childish imagination and life's surprise in a really lovely and funny way.     Recommendation: This poetry is really interesting, so I would certainly recommend it to friends.

Poem 2 : “ H ug O’ War” ( by Shel Shiverstine)   Paraphrase: The author  rejects battle in place of love (hug o' war), in which people give hugs, laugh, and show love to one another, resulting in a feeling of success and happiness that is shared by everyone.     Attitude: The poem's attitude  is joyful and happy, encouraging love, peace, and the rejection of battle instead of gentle exchanges.   Shift: The main theme of the poem moves from battle to love and peace when the speaker combines the negative imagery of tug-of-war with the positive imagery of hug-o-war.   Opinion: In my opinion " Hug O' War " is a wonderful poem that jokingly sends an important message of peace and unity by carefully pushing love above harm using funny language and powerful imagery. .   Recommendation: Because of its challenging subject and absorbing language, "Hug O' War" is a great choice to start discussions on love and unity.   POEM 1 : “Underface”   ( by Shel Shiverstine)   Paraphrase: The poem goes over the idea that there is an unseen face—a darker, nervous and quiet side beneath the outward look. It is said that this hidden face is more honest and true to the speaker's inner self.   Attitude: It i s a thoughtful, reflective attitude. Being sincere and a desire to express the character  of the speaker's identity are obvious.     Shift: The shifting moment is when the "underface," which is different from the outside appearance, is revealed. The change shows the contrast between the true self that is hidden and the public face.   Opinion:    I n my opinion   "Underface" is a well written poem that does a great job of expressing the common experience of trying to maintain one's private honesty with one's public face.      Recommendation: I would really recommend this poem to friends because of the poet's lovely word choice.
